The short version

Dominion's digital target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This is an ongoing accessibility goal, not a claim that every page or third-party feature is already free of barriers.

/01

Our commitment and target

Dominion aims to provide equal access to information, booking, support, and service. The digital experience is designed toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is treated as continuing work involving design, code review, testing, content updates, and customer feedback.

/02

Measures used on this website

Current accessibility practices include:

  • semantic headings, landmarks, links, buttons, and form labels;
  • keyboard-operable controls and visible focus treatment;
  • responsive layouts, text alternatives, and readable color contrast;
  • clear validation and status messages where forms require input; and
  • automated code-quality checks plus browser review at desktop and mobile sizes.
/03

Known limitations and alternatives

Interactive maps, payment interfaces, and other third-party components may behave differently across assistive technologies. Some prototype or newly released account screens may also need additional manual testing. Dominion does not describe the site as fully conformant until a complete accessibility assessment supports that conclusion.

If a digital feature is not usable, call or text (504) 473-0086 or email ride@dominionblackservices.com. Dominion can provide the information or complete the booking through an available alternative channel at no extra charge.

/04

Transportation accommodations

Service animals are welcome without an added fee, consistent with applicable law. Passengers are not required to provide certification for a service animal. Please share only the trip details needed for safe preparation; you do not need to disclose a diagnosis.

Tell Dominion about folding wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or other mobility devices before confirmation so passenger, luggage, and cargo fit can be checked safely. Dominion's current Yukon is not advertised as a wheelchair-accessible vehicle with a ramp or lift. If the current vehicle cannot safely meet a requested configuration, Dominion will explain that before confirmation and help identify an appropriate alternative when practical.

/05

Report a barrier or request help

Accessibility feedback is welcome by phone or text at (504) 473-0086 and by email at ride@dominionblackservices.com. If possible, include the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology involved. Those details are helpful but not required.

Dominion will review the report, provide an accessible alternative when practical, and prioritize fixes according to impact. No one will be denied service or treated adversely for requesting a reasonable accommodation or reporting an accessibility concern.

/06

Assessment and updates

This statement is based on self-evaluation and ongoing automated and browser testing; it is not a third-party accessibility certification. The statement will be updated as the product, testing coverage, or known limitations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
